Happy International Women’s Day!
Hello everybody, I hope you are all doing well. I just wanted to pop on here and say a big Happy International Women’s Day! I’m celebrating by sharing some of my favourite women authors with you all today. Read on to get some great recommendations to add to your TBR!

1. Clare Mackintosh
Clare is so brilliant at creating such an emotional edge of your seat thriller. You always feel completely immersed and almost feel the emotions the characters are feeling! I love the way her thrillers make me feel and really think about what’s going on. If I had to choose I would say my favourite book by Clare Mackintosh is – I Let You Go.
2. Alice Feeney
Alice Feeney is the absolute queen of suspenseful thrillers with insane plot twists. I also love how all of her books are so different but all equally as good as each other. The variety is amazing and there’s something for every mood with Alice’s collection. The sort of books that you can read over and over without getting bored! My favourite by Alice is Rock Paper Scissors.
3. C.J. Tudor
One of my favourite authors ever, I’m in love with C.J. Tudor’s writing style and how unique it feels. One of her books – The Drift is my favourite book I have ever read! I love how we get some really gruesome details in the books and her writing just grabs you and pulls you in not letting go until the very final dark twisted page.
4. Lisa Jewell
Lisa is an excellent author. Her books are always such easy reads that you just forget you’re even reading. You fly through the pages, soon finding yourself staring at a wall processing the crazy story you have just read! Lisa is such a comfort author for me, if I’m ever struggling to get into books I always reach for a Jewell. I never find myself disappointed. I’d definitely recommend Lisa’s books if you’re trying out thrillers for the first time, as they are such easy reads. I’d have to say The Family Upstairs is my favourite by Lisa.
5. Freida McFadden
I love how short and snappy her books are. I love how bingeable and popcorn thrillery they feel. Her books are just so entertaining, I love how quickly they move and the shock factor they have. An expert in suspense and dark domestic thrillers.
